Before stepping into obedience to Jesus’ Kingdom practices, most people take stock of their assets. Not this man.

This is not an isolated testimony. It is stunning to watch the extraordinary ways God is using ordinary people who are committed to making disciples of Jesus. They know first hand that achieving the Great Commission objective begins at home. Neighborhoods are their primary mission field. If they are not faithful at home, they have no business going elsewhere.

But let’s face the facts. It is time for a reality check. Most believers in Jesus have no idea where to begin in reaching their neighbors with the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is long past time for the Church to leave the safety of the sanctuary and engage the people God has placed in our sphere of influence.
