What’s so different about a Disciple Daily tour?
Two Full Weeks – Standard “tour-in-a-box” vacations last about ten days, including travel time. Itineraries are almost identical. By the time you get over jet-lag, it is time to go home. They are profit driven, a business. Our tours are purpose driven, a ministry. Participants are introduced to parts of the Promised Land vacationers never see. They are introduced to people others never meet. For about the same cost as a 10-day vacation tour, Disciple Daily’s training tours last a full 14 days, in country.
Conducted Chronologically – Every story has a beginning and an end. Vacation tours begin with the life of Jesus, two-thirds of the way into the Bible. Our tours start with Genesis, “in the beginning.” The first morning of the tour, we head south into the Negev. This is where God ratified His unconditional covenant (Land, Nation, Blessing) with Abraham’s descendants. Our tours generally include a two-night excursion into Jordan to visit Wadi Rum, Petra, and Mount Nebo. This feature is an add-on to vacation tours for an additional $1,500. It is a regular feature of our program.
Unfortunately, due to COVID limitations, current itineraries do not include Jordan. We have added more to our Israel program until conditions change.
Living Stones – God is doing a new work in Israel. For the first time in almost 2,000 years, Jewish people are once again coming to faith in Yeshua, their Jewish Messiah. Arab are also recognizing Jesus as Savior and Lord. What is happening among Jewish and Arab believers in Jesus is the best news you won’t hear anyplace else. You will meet some of these incredible men and women on our tours.
Equipping For Ministry – Disciple Daily’s Israel tours are limited capacity. The group size fosters “iron sharpens iron” conversations among the participants. We learn from each other. This type of collective collaboration is not possible with larger groups. Everyone who travels with us returns home with disciple-making tools for training other disciples back home.
Build your own group, or join one of ours.
We do not mass-market our tours. We intentionally operate on a much smaller scale. Still, you will find our 14-day tour price is often less than that of the vacation products. The minimum size of our tours is 14 people, making it possible for a family or a small group to assemble a totally self-contained group of their own.
We always have a few people who want to join another group we have assembled. For those in this category we maintain a waiting list. You decide what works best for you.
Training Leader – Arlie Francis
Arlie Francis is Founder/Training Director of Disciple Daily. He has led dozens of Bible land tours. A student of the Bible since 1971, Arlie leads and teaches on all of our tours. People often ask, “after all the tours you have led, does it ever get old?”
God always shows up in unexpected ways during our tours. I have a plan, but God frequently takes over. Watching people explore the land of the Bible and make discoveries of their own because the Lord is in our midst, that is what continues to excite me. It never gets old! – Arlie Francis
Arlie is supported by outstanding Israeli and Jordanian guides who work with him regularly. All land arrangements are made through Sar-El Tours, owned and operated by Samuel Smadja, a Jewish believer in Jesus. The entire team is incredible. There is not another tour company in all Israel that compares with Sar-El.
