Meeting Urgent Needs
Working alongside ministry partners in Moldova & Romania.
Since August of last year, The Fellowship Team from Disciple Daily has been preparing for their summer assignment. The plan was to serve Ukrainians alongside our ministry partners in their country.
Then war broke out.
Now, six million Ukrainians have fled their country and are in need of help.
Ukrainian families are hurting and in desperate need of prayer and support as millions have fled to neighboring countries. We are ready to walk alongside existing ministries, meeting the needs of these families in their darkest moments while pointing them to the light and hope of Jesus Christ.
On June 6th, Alexis Corley, Morgan Aragon, Dalí Jácome, and Blake DeLeon will travel to Chisinau, Moldova, where they will get acclimated to the region’s realities for about a week. We will partner with the Admiral’s Academy to hone our servant skills. Then we will transfer to Galati, Romania.
Biserica Crestina Emanuel is a church hosting 65-100 Ukrainian refugees each week. Church members have volunteered to meet the ever-changing needs of the refugees. They are now exhausted. Our team is trained and ready to help them.

… a message from Arlie Francis
Recently, the continual behind-the-scenes spiritual war broke out in our physical world eighty miles from San Antonio, TX. Twenty-one people died in an elementary school massacre at the hands of an eighteen-year-old in Uvalde, Texas. It was an evil act. We are all wandering exiles, whether we realize it or not.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24th. What started three months ago is also evil. Fourteen million people have now fled their homes, six million to neighboring countries.
“Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress and keep oneself unstained by the world.” – James 1:27
Since August of last year, The Fellowship Team from Disciple Daily has been training together. The team was in Israel when the war in Ukraine broke out. We have been asking ourselves, “What does James 1:27 look like for our team when it comes to the humanitarian crisis in Eurasia today?”
We have concluded that we cannot sit idly on the sideline when there is such great need. We have unknowingly been training for this since August 20, 2021. Now we know why.
Maybe you, your family, and your church have wrestled with the same question. “How can we get involved in a personal way with what is happening in Ukraine and the surrounding countries?”
This time in history is unprecedented.
The bombs and bodies are visible across the globe via the internet in real-time. Tens of thousands, Ukrainians and Russians alike, have died in this needless war. Millions are displaced across Europe. Others are in exile, waiting for their uncertain future.
Where will they go?
How will they get there?
We are going to help them as they wait.

P.S. – Ray Boltz wrote a song in 1988 titled “Thank You.” The lyrics match this moment.
I dreamed I went to heaven
And you were there with me
We walked upon the streets of gold
Beside the crystal sea
We heard the angels singing
Then someone called your name
You turned and saw this young man
And he was smiling as he came
He said, “Friend, you may not know me…”
P.S.S. – If not you, who? If not now, when?
